I think you could make your own pretty easily.

I think that’s a pretty fair price. What’s wrong?

In the case of mine the bigger thing was the mounting hardware the flaps came with. In some spots the hardware utilized holes in the body that were there but weren’t threaded and therefore couldn’t have anything screwed into the location without the hardware provided (or drilling new holes, which I wasn’t about to do)

Rally Armor mud guards are expensive, but I don’t think it’s a crazy price for the best in the business. I installed a set on a buddy’s FoST with him. Easy to install. They look great. And they won’t chip or get scratched up over time, like ABS plastic ones will. Still, there are obviously cheaper options out there.

No, but I can take some tomorrow. Putting new tires on anyway, so it’ll be a good time to get some shots

I thought so too but they fit well and no hole drilling on my Fost. Your basically paying for the engineering of the mounting hardware.

Exactly why I don't have a set on my car.
That's gonna leave a mark!

I put some on my BRZ soon after I got it, and have no regrets. They’re pricey, but after more than two years they’ve held up extremely well. They’ve been through the snowiest Boston winter on record, several trips across Team O’Neil (though not as fast as Dusty was driving this past weekend!), and have hung on at 110mph on the track. I think Dusty nailed it - anyone can cut a piece of plastic into the right shape, but the mounting hardware is perfect. It doesn’t look like much - just a few bolts and a bracket or two - but it’s held up to everything I’ve thrown at it, which is slightly more than the average driver.
